Spring Trade & Media Activities
Busy Spring Sessions

Kathy Cooper, Regional Travel Trade Representative, has been busy attending two Tour Operator (ITB German & Rendez-vous Canada) and one Media (Canada's Media) marketplaces this past spring.

In San Francisco (in April), Kathy met with 25 Travel Media Writers from North America.   Through a series of pre-scheduled appointments, we presented story ideas, new product information as well as built awareness of our region to the media.  Check out some of the story starters featured this year!

In May (May 8-12, 2010), Kathy attended Rendez-vous Canada in Winnipeg - Canada’s premier international tourism industry marketplace.    Appointments for one-on-one business sessions are pre-scheduled with buyers (Tour Operators) and sellers (i.e. DMOs, Accommodation Properties, Ski Operators, Attractions, etc.) to present new product information to increase the number of group and/or FIT fly/drive visits to the region.

Promotion of your new tourism product/facility is FREE to all Tourism Partners.  To learn more about this service offered by Kootenay Rockies Tourism, please contact:
