Tourism BC's Community Tourism Opportunities Program (CTO) is designed to:

   1. Work with communities to define Tourism Priorities in development and marketing;

   2. Assist communities with marketing tactics, planning and evaluation of campaigns; and

   3. Allow communities to lever their current budget to drive incremental business.

January 31, 2009 - Confirm that CTO approved projects will be on-budget - Completed!

March 1, 2009 - Submit budget request for FY2010 (Apr 1, 2009 to Mar 31, 2010).   Funding from Tourism BC is being estimated at a maximum of $15,000 per community.    Please fill out the Activity, Budget, Description, Evaluation and Contact Information and email the details to Chris Andrews.   This may be our only opportunity to access funding for 2010 so please submit. - Completed!

March 1, 2009 - Have invoices and backup for all remaining FY2009 projects sent to Kootenay Rockies for processing and to receive payment.
